MORE SKETCHES ON SOLAR SHIPS

The most problematic one is the solar ship since I didn't really have the ideas. So I have been doing a lot of sketches in order to get one really "looks like" a solar ship and fits the top view.

The last one on the right hand side is the final concept for solar concept. I outlined it pretty neatly.

MORE SKETCHES

I tried to create some sort of 3D looks on the ships so my teammates can visualize how the ships looked like. The more I sketched, the neater my lines went. I got more and more experiences with quite lots of sketches.


MY VERY FIRST SKETCH

To be honest, I may blame their ugliness by "those are very rough sketches", but not. Those are amazingly ugly and flat, however, they help me to visualize how my lines should be drawn. Yes, very essential start for me. (woo-hoo, i'm on the right track)

INSPIRATIONS

I googled up for some inspirations. Actually, I have never drawn any spaceships before (at least this level). I was looking for some sort of battle ships, fast and flexible... I like them because I got so inspired by the movie "Star wars"






















And combining everything in one and I start sketching

MY VERY FIRST TASK - CONCEPTS

Loxy asked me to start sketching the space ships on the first week. There are four types of ships I need to work on.
1) Nuclear ship
2) Electric ship
3) Solar ship
4) Rocket ship
Each types of ships has different features and characteristics, some are fast, some are not... so sizes and shapes should be focused much on.

MY TEAM

I'm with Loxy Reid and Zachary Freiberg grouping up for a space game kind of things. (The concept idea was from Loxy Reid).
The plan what we need to work on :
Me : Design character, animations and sounds
Zach : Lead coder
Loxy : In-game visuals (interface), coder

An interesting project to work with an awesome team, I'm so excited about it. Hopefully, we work individually on different parts and when they all come together, the game will work fine.
